In late 2025, several enhancements were added to the NYC Executive Summary report. Here’s what was added to the report, including a brief overview of the new sections.

New: Periodic Elevator Inspection Summary
In addition to Category 1 & Category 5 information, your Executive Summary report now includes a high-level accounting of Periodic Elevator inspections, including devices that have an accepted filing, require corrections (accepted with defects), or have no filing on record for that cycle.
New: Optional Financial Review Section For Key Requirements
A new Financial Review section can be optionally included in your Executive Summary report, showing high level details on risk prevented by compliant filings, and potential risk from any outstanding filings.
Here’s an example of what this section looks like for Elevators:
The first row (Minimum Risk Avoided) outlines penalties that were prevented by on-time filings.
The second row (Current Minimum Risk) outlines potential penalties for outstanding filings. Numbers in yellow indicate possible penalties for devices/requirements where the due date has not yet passed. Numbers in red indicate possible penalties for devices/requirements where the due date has passed.
Both rows apply the minimum standard penalty for the specific requirement to the count of compliant or non-compliant records. The potential totals do not include monthly fees or additional penalties.
Please note that these numbers do not reflect actual penalties issued by the DOB. They’re meant to be a guide to taking action and minimizing risk going forward. Any administratively issued violations and associated penalties can be viewed in the DOB Violations section of your account.
You can choose to include or exclude this section from your Report. If you do exclude this section, it won’t be visible for any eligible requirements (Elevators, Boilers, FISP, Parking Structures, or Retaining Walls). If you choose to keep this section in your Report, you’ll see it for all the above data sets.
New: Compliance Manager Tracking
Teams who use Compliance Manager to track actions for key requirements will now see updates in the Executive Summary report.
Customized statuses and overall tracking for the current cycle will be available for any sections where your team is using Compliance Manager:
You can use the built-in links to view details for specific devices or properties marked as In Compliance/Noncompliant.
If your team is not using Compliance Manager (either for a specific requirement or overall), you’ll see this message:

Here’s what the action and filing summary look like for Parking Structures:
New: Sustainability Information

- A distribution of Local Law 87 covered properties so you can view how many properties are required to submit EERs within any given year
- A breakdown of properties included in any Local Law 97 CBL
New: Optional Enhanced Appendices
You can also include Enhanced Appendices in your Executive Summary, including property-level details for relevant DOB filings and requirements (FISP, parking structures, retaining walls, and sustainability requirements) at the end of your report.
New: Format For Single Properties
Executive Summary Reports run for a single building will also include the above information in a new, helpful format.
