How do I create a Work Order?
Please visit the Work Order section under Maintenance or click here
Click Create Work Order
Step 1. You will need to input the following information -
a. Property
b. Unit (If applicable)
c. Work Order Type - A preset list of options will be available
Step 2. Designate if this work should be assigned to a Vendor, a member of your Staff, or Other
a. Vendor - Third-party companies your management company are affiliated with
You will need to create and input your Vendors here, please visit this support article to learn how to add your Vendors to SiteCompli
b. Staff - A user within your organization assigned to the relevant property
c. Other - Assign the work to the desired person or organization not listed as a vendor or staff member
Step 3. Set the Start Date, Start time and Due Date, Due Time for the Work Order
a. Optional - You can email a copy of the Work Order
b. Optional - Make the work visible to the tenant
Available with Tenant Portal and Call Center activated
Step 4. Input the Task Details of the Work Order
You can have one task or multiple tasks per Work Order, click the Additional Task button to drop down another Task window:
Can I edit a Work Order?
No, we specifically designed the Work Order to make sure the original specifications of the work order/job could not be edited. If a work order needs to be adjusted, you will need to delete the work order.
Create a Work Order off a Record
You can also create a work order off of any record in SiteCompli (Violations, Complaints, etc.). Just drop down the record and click - Create Work Order

How do I add a third-party Vendor to my account?
You can add a Vendor to your SiteCompli account by visiting the Vendor section of SiteCompli here -
This is a recommended step so you can take full advantage of our Work Order system.
Step 1. Click Add New Vendor
- Input the Vendor Name
- Upload an image of their logo - Optional
- Select a Type or Multiple Types to indicate the work the vendor offers
- Add their Address and Contact Information
- Click Save
Step 2. Add Contacts to your Vendor
Once you've created your Vendor, it's good to add a contact or multiple contacts depending on who you work with at this Vendor.
Return to your Vendor List and click on the vendor's name to pull up their card.
You will have the ability to add contacts to your vendor card as seen below -
In addition, you can always return to this card to see how many work orders have been assigned to this Vendor.
