What is a Whitelist?
The Whitelist helps your team monitor the data you need without cluttering your Dashboard, Reports, Alerts, or Calendar with excess information.
Four types of information can be included on your team’s Whitelist:
- Properties - adding a property to your Whitelist ensures that all compliance data for the property is pulled into your SiteCompli account
- Elevators and Boilers - any devices (boilers, elevators, escalators, freight, etc.) on your Whitelist include associated inspection and violation records
- Named Respondents - violations linked to individuals or entities associated with your organization will be pulled into your account automatically
Information that does not match with your team’s desired properties, equipment, or named respondents will be withheld from your account.
Where can I see the items on my company’s Whitelist?
To view properties, named respondents, and equipment that your team has chosen to include on the Whitelist, click on the circular icon (the one that contains your initials or your picture) in the upper right-hand corner, click Company, and then click on Filtered Data Settings.
Note: You must be an Admin on your account to view Company settings.
Can I see devices and violations that aren’t on my company’s Whitelist?
Yes, you can view items outside of your selected Whitelist filters.
To do so, click into any relevant data tab (elevators, boilers, ECB violations) and switch the toggle at the top of the page from My Violations/My Devices to All Violations/All Devices.
Items that are not Whitelisted by your team will appear with a diagonal pattern, visibly distinguished from items that are yours.
Can I track a violation without modifying our team’s Whitelist?
If for whatever reason you need to monitor a violation that isn’t associated with your team (for example, it was issued to your landlord but your team is responsible for corrections, per the Lease), you can add individual infractions to your account on the fly.
To do this, set the violations toggle at the top of the page to All Violations/All Penalties, click on the small plus sign next to the violation number to expand the details and click on Add to My Violations.
How does NotMe work with the Whitelist?
NotMe works exactly opposite from the Whitelist. Any violations or named respondents marked as NotMe will be blacklisted, and not appear in your account at all. Items marked NotMe cannot be toggled on.
